  • Calen Kinney

    Calen Kinney is a Nova Scotian native with 15 years under his belt as a fiddler. He grew up in a small community saturated in Celtic tradition with many ceilidh’s and kitchen parties, allowing him to develop as a truly authentic traditional player. Calen currently plays in the popular East Coast Celtic-rock group, The Stanfields, where he has had the opportunity to tour the world – in the past year he has played all across Europe and even performed in the North Pole, at the most Northern inhabited land in the world! 

  • Elizabeth Nagel

    Covering a range of styles from The Rolling Stones to Bach. Elizabeth enjoys introducing students to music and coaching them to achieve their personal goals on the cello.

    Gerald Coleman is a versatile drum set player who lives to elevate and inspire others through music.

      I am a professional vocalist and song-writer and I want to teach YOU how to utilize the oldest and most versatile instrument: your voice!

        Linshan Sui

        Linshan has been playing the Chinese Zither (guzheng) for over 12 years.  She will make a combination of traditional and pop music and help students discover the traditional Chinese music in a new way. 

        • Luke Fraser
          Luke is a Nova Scotia native who spent the last several years living in Montreal and touring North America and overseas with his band, The Bombadils. He was classically trained in guitar at Dalhousie and McGill Universities, and enjoys playing traditional Irish music, bluegrass and Appalachian old time music on guitar and mandolin. In addition, he has a background in rock and pop music, as well as composing original music of his own.

                Serkan Suer was born in 1979, Istanbul, Turkey. He has been playing drums for 23 years. He is also playing percussions as congas, cajon, bongos, maracas, etc. He has been performing as session musician for professional records; also performing as a stage musician in various musical styles.

                  Shan Arsenault brings 15 years of teaching experience,a rich performance background and studies in composition and arranging from Berklee College of Music to his guitar and bass lessons….

                  • Susan Sharpe Violin

                    Susan’s teaching experience includes one on one academic tutoring, individual violin lessons and leading small rehearsals.

                    • Taylor Ackerman

                      Actively gigging since age 14 his passion, and understanding of roots, rock, and blues music developed as a member of the bands Treeline, Toques & Beards, Hurtin’, Juxtaposers, and Scott Macleod. A gifted multi-instrumentalist Taylor studied classical music at the University of Lethbridge specializing in percussion, receiving a Bachelor of Music in 2012.
