Music Lessons are Back ‘Book lessons‘ now! 

Friends and Students of Fantasie Music, Welcome back and we are excited to announce that we have three new lesson rooms.  They are newly renovated and located on the second floor, above Fantasie Music.

The Resurva booking service will remain open and students will be able to book and pay for lessons online. You can book these lessons online at https://fantasiemusic.resurva.com/.

We will then put you in touch with the instructor by email or by phone and from there the teacher will coordinate with you.

  • Iryna Gerus – Piano & Vocals

    A performer since the age of five, Ukraine-born pop singer Iryna Gerus has toured in Poland, Russia, Germany, the Slovak Republic, India and Jordan.

  • Jack Phillips Guitar

    Coming from a jazz theory background, Jack has had six combined years of formal music education, including the NSCC Music Arts Program, as well as lessons with several esteemed university guitar professors. Currently a gigging musician in Halifax, Jack is equipped to teach any age group or experience level across a plethora of genres. Lessons will be dynamic and tailored to meet your needs and interests.

  • Jimmy Guitar/Banjo/Mandolin/Ukulele

    Whatever you’d like to learn whether it’s rock, pop, folk, punk, country, blues, simple campfire tunes or some wild combination of everything, Jimmy is here to help. All ages and skill levels are more than welcome!

  • Joseph Dowell Piano

    Joseph Dowell (BMUS) is an accomplished, locally trained solo and collaborative pianist with a passion for classical music. He enjoys performing on his own and with others and loves teaching piano/music theory. His goal in teaching is to keep students engaged and fulfilled with their music studies and he adapts to students’ learning styles and musical goals.

     

  • Serkan Süer Drums Drums

    Serkan Suer has been playing drums for 23 years. He has performed as session musician for professional records; also performing as a stage musician in various musical styles.

  • Victoria Ioannou Violin Violin

    Victoria Ioannou holds a Bachelor of Music from Acadia University where she studied with Gillian Smith. She previously studied with Conrad Chow with the Royal Conservatory of Music.
