Victoria Ioannou holds a Bachelor of Music from Acadia University where she studied with Gillian Smith. She previously studied with Conrad Chow with the Royal Conservatory of Music. She was on faculty at the Port Perry School of Music and has adjudicated at the Durham Showcase Music Festival in Ontario. She has performed with the Durham Chamber Orchestra, the Acadia University Orchestra, and numerous chamber ensembles both in classical and improvisational settings. Her passions lie in performance, pedagogy, and interdisciplinary artistic collaborations. In addition to classical music, she enjoys teaching fiddle and any genre that’s best suited to her students’ goals. She aims to challenge students and inspire them to strive for their full potential and discover their passions in music.
